- BWDA Membership Fees : We live in a world where the cost of living is on an upward spiral which reflects on the prices we pay for everything. Sadly, the BWDA is not immune to these rises (including but not limited to: post, magazine production, insurance, PO box, accountant’s fees, stationery, web hosting, etc.) so we are having to increase the membership fee for the first time since 2008. The cost of membership will therefore be increased by £5 across the board but we believe that it still represents exceptional value for money. Thanks. Mick (Webmaster)
- Teacher Training : We are sorry to advise that, due to demand and to natural process evolution, we will be ceasing our teacher training program. We would very much like to thank those hundreds of you who have taken them over the last 30-ish years. Also, many thanks for lovely comments received on the questionnaires which were given out at the end of each session. It was our pleasure to meet and train so many lovely people.
- July magazine step-sheets : With apologies, the step-sheet for TALKIN' BOUT MY GIRL from Sadia Heggerness as published in the July 2026 BWDA magazine slipped past our quality control and contains errors. A corrected version may be found within the Members' Area of this site.
- Why you may have stopped receiving your BWDA magazine
We have updated our magazine list and, in the interest of economy, have removed members who have not renewed their membership since the start of the lockdown.
Those who failed to renew in March and April continued to receive magazines to which they were not entitled but were not removed from the mailing list due to possible postal problems, such as not being able to go out and post their renewal or did not have anyone to do it for them.
We did receive some late renewals for this reason.
Members who have been wrongly removed will, of course, be reinstated as soon as they have confirmed their continued membership.
Anyone having problems with being able to send their renewal form and fee to us, for any reason, please eMail us.
